Toll changes 2023 and 2024

From 1 July 2024, vehicles with a technically permissible maximum laden mass of more than 3.5 tonnes will be subject to tolls.

For trade vehicles, a journey-related exemption from the toll obligation applies for vehicles over 3.5 and less than 7.5 tonnes.

Since 1 December 2023, a new tariff feature has applied to the truck toll: the CO₂ emission class.

How does the CO₂ emissions class finder work?

From 1 December 2023, the Technically Permissible Maximum Laden Mass (TPMLM) will be decisive for assignment to a weight class.

From 1 January 2024, trucks with CNG/LNG drives will be subject to tolls. Zero-emission vehicles will remain exempt from tolls until the end of 2025.
